Melanie Sumrow is the award-winning author of fiction for teens, with honors including a Golden Kite Award for Young Adult Fiction, an ITW Thriller Award Finalist, an Odyssey Honor Award and an AudioFile Earphones Award. Before becoming an author, Melanie worked as a lawyer for more than 16 years. She received her MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Hamline University and lives in Dallas.
